A thermal drinking trough with a capacity of 75 L, a durable double-wall HDPE polyethylene body, and polyurethane foam insulation operates on the principle of a thermos and protects the water from freezing at temperatures down to approximately −30 °C without electricity. In winter, THERMOLAC maintains the water temperature at approximately +3 to +5 °C, while in summer it maintains +10 to +12 °C, ensuring a suitable water temperature all year round.
Two polyurethane foam-insulated ball drinking openings provide access to the water from both sides and help maintain the effectiveness of the thermal insulation. The animal accesses the water by gently pressing the insulated ball, while the sealed design reduces the entry of dirt and foreign objects into the trough. The model is suitable for approximately 30 horses or cattle.
A high-flow float valve automatically maintains an adjustable water level and provides a water flow of 34 L/min at 3 bar. Two drainage openings with a diameter of 100 mm allow the trough to be completely emptied in approximately 15 seconds, significantly facilitating cleaning and routine maintenance.
