Larta VC milk cooler for 4 milkings 400 – 2500 l

The Larta VC 400–2500 l provides stable milk cooling for farms where milk needs to be safely stored over a longer collection interval. The open-type design makes it easy to inspect the milk, carry out washing, and maintain milk quality even with larger volumes.

The tank is made of AISI 304 stainless steel both inside and out. Smooth inner walls, rounded corners, and polished welds help maintain a clean, hygienic environment for cooling and storing milk. Adjustable legs ensure precise positioning of the tank in the milk room, while the raised structural sections make cleaning around the lid, control panel, and agitator easier.

The direct cooling system with R449A refrigerant efficiently reduces the milk temperature even with large volumes of milk. The direct-expansion evaporator and sloped tank bottom help drain the tank completely, reduce energy losses, and limit the risk of ice particle formation at lower milk levels.

The electronic control panel with a 3-digit display makes it easy to monitor the temperature, cooling cycle, and mixing mode. The Dixell milk controller manages compressor operation and automatic milk mixing, while the NTC sensor provides accurate temperature readings. The IP55 panel and IP68 sensor help ensure stable operation in a humid farm environment.

The agitator operating at 30 rpm maintains an even temperature throughout the tank and helps reduce milk foaming. When the lid is lifted, the agitator stops automatically, improving safety during daily servicing.

For monitoring the milk quantity, the tank is equipped with a stainless steel level ruler and calibration chart. DN50, SMS51, or Triclamp connections with a stainless steel butterfly valve are available for milk discharge. The 20 cm milk filling opening facilitates inspection and filling, while the larger models are available with two filling openings for easier servicing.
