Larta VC milk cooler for 2 milkings 400 – 2000 l

The Larta VC 400–2000 l provides powerful milk cooling for farms with larger milk volumes, precise temperature control, and convenient daily operation. The open-type design makes it easy to check the milk quickly, maintain cleanliness, and safely preserve milk quality until collection.

The tank is made of AISI 304 stainless steel both inside and out. Smooth inner walls, rounded corners, and high-quality polished welds help maintain high hygiene standards and reduce cleaning time. Adjustable feet allow the tank to be precisely levelled in the milk room, which is important for accurately reading the milk quantity and ensuring complete drainage.

The direct cooling system with R449A refrigerant quickly reduces the milk temperature after milking and helps preserve milk quality until collection or further processing. The direct-expansion evaporator is integrated into the bottom of the tank so that heat is efficiently removed from the milk. The sloped bottom ensures complete milk drainage and helps reduce the amount of residue after the operating cycle.

The electronic control panel with a 3-digit display provides a clear overview of the temperature, cooling cycle, and mixing operation. The Dixell milk controller operates the compressor and automatic mixing, while the NTC temperature sensor ensures accurate milk temperature readings. The IP55 panel and IP68 sensor are suitable for humid farm environments.

The mixer, operating at 30 rpm, maintains an even temperature throughout the tank and reduces milk foaming. When the lid is raised, the mixer motor stops automatically, making work with the tank safer and more convenient. The raised structural parts around the control panel, lid handle, and mixer motor make cleaning the lid area easier.

For monitoring the milk quantity, the tank is equipped with a stainless steel level ruler and calibration table. DN50, SMS51, or Triclamp connections with a stainless steel butterfly valve are available for milk discharge. Polyurethane insulation helps reduce temperature losses and maintain a stable milk temperature between cooling cycles.
