Distillation apparatus 50 L

A distillation apparatus with a 50 L stainless steel tank is designed for distilling fermented fruit, berries, grains, and other suitable raw materials, as well as for producing distilled water, essential oils, and hydrosols. When processing fruit and grain raw materials, it can be used to produce whisky, brandy, rum, vodka, ethanol, and other distillates. The main tank is also suitable for fermenting fruit wine and beer wort before distillation; its raw material capacity is up to 50 L.

The main tank is 40 cm in diameter and 40 cm high, while the assembled apparatus is 52 cm high. The tank wall thickness is 0.7 mm. The cooling system consists of a 3.5 L tank with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 12 cm, and a copper coil with a tube diameter of 10 mm. Copper’s high thermal conductivity and the coil’s large contact area with the cooling water ensure efficient cooling and condensation of the vapor.

The included water circulation pump maintains a continuous flow of cooling water through the condensation system and enables recirculation of the water. Cold water is supplied through the lower connection, while warmed water is discharged through the upper connection. The built-in thermometer, with °C and °F scales, enables temperature control during distillation.

Four fastening clamps and silicone gaskets create a tight connection between the lid and the tank, while the one-way air valve is designed to release fermentation gases. Food-grade silicone tubes provide flexible and secure connections. Suitable heating methods include a gas stove, wood-burning stove, and electric ceramic heating surface.
